>>23464365Nah B, I gotta disagree with out 100%, when I was younger I just felt as though the scale wasn't large enough.
I always wished more things happened like in the manga (zapamaltacuno, the mask of ice, elete four trying to take over kanto, etc._
In other games characters would go from zeroes to heroes in less realistic settings; pokemon felt really bland in comparison. (I mean hell, both manga had more interesting worlds than the games; and don't give me that gameboy limitation, by gen 3 they could have pushed the graphics, but they didn't)
I could explore in irl, living in the countryside and all; hence why that aspect felt rather mundane
>YOU FLY IN TO SPACE ON TOP OF THE SUPER ULTRA POWERFUL TRANSFORMED VERSION OF THE ALREADY SUPER POWERFUL GOD OF THE SKY DRAGON TO FIGHT THE EVIL ALIEN MENACE.
To tell you the truth, that's actually a step in the right direction. It is a rpg end battle after all.
You all seem to forget it's not pokemono (kemono=beast in Japanese) it's pokeMON, as in Monster.
Monsters transform, monsters can be deities, monsters do weird stuff.
If you want mundane play harvest moon and if you want to explore the countryside do it in irl.
>difference between Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.Nah /B/ the reason why DBZ got shitty was there was only one type of fighter, they stopped exploring, and important characters became useless. If they explored the universe, met different types of warriors along the way and kept the sense of adventure it would have been alright.
The problem with Naruto was that Naruto out scaled everyone too quickly, everyone else grew in strength it would have been alright.
