This means the Technician boost comes first, as does the defense reduction. It essentially makes it deal +30% true damage.

Why was epilepsy-backlash seemingly directed towards porygon? The pokemon itself didn't cause seizures the flashing godamned screen did, why not just include porygon but without the flashing screen? And the porygon didn't even cause the flashing, it was pikachu, ban that piece of shit if anyone.

Has there ever been any in game or game freak explaination as to why it is bug types are just not allowed to use fly? It doesn't make any damn sense.

Also, back to porygon for a second, why does it have weight if it's 'nothing but programming code'? Or exist and interact with things that are outside of computers?

Why do sibling cubones all have skulls on their heads? Further more, if you hatch the thing yourself, and you know for a damn fact that its mother is still alive because it's right there in the daycare center playing around with other pokemon, breathing and shit, why does it still have the skull on its head?

Does red speak to the mimic girl? To this day I do not understand what that whole dialog is even supposed to be.

What does a muk look like under/without the sludge. Read the dex entries and you'll know what I mean. It also references it leaving sludgy footprints, does the pokedex show it having a footprint?

Cubone wearing its mother's skull is probably a folk legend.

Ever hear Native American legends like "how the jaguar got its spots" and "how the turtle got its shell"? Same thing, pretty much.

Well, that's my headcanon anyway. There's also that theory that cubone/marowak was supposed to be related to kangaskhan somehow.

Say, Victini, Keldeo, and Celebi. Probably the Alphabet Trio, too.

In the same vein, why is it that the Alphabet Trio, the Tao Duo, and such (Even the weather trio here) coded to never be shiny also?

A pokemon you switch in so that you can then switch it out again to get the actually desired pokemon in with no or less damage taken.

I can't see any reason why they couldn't? Aside from the ever-present laziness. You could just treat Pay Day as always a multi-hit attack, but rather than the second hit having a random chance of success, it's conditional. That said, we already know you can alter the success of a multi-hit attack with Skill Link, so it's clearly possible to manually alter hit success.
Alternatively, just have Pay Day and double Pay Day as "separate" attacks in the game's programming, and then have the move select between them based on the condition of holding Amulet Coin, like Metronome or Assist does.
That's all way over-complicated though, it'd be much easier to just say Use Pay Day -> Is it holding Amulet Coin? -> If so do this, if not do that. -> Execute attack.

In lower tiers yes, higher up not so much.

You can still make it work with lead sets, like Head Smash/Taunt/Endeavor/Stealth Rock and a Focus Sash, but ultimately it's mediocre.

It is possible to get stuck in Generation I, but I don't know of any other ones outside of really nasty glitches like Acid Rain

The ghosts in the tower are unidentifiable because the entire tower is filled with a haze of thousands of dead spirits. You need the scope to filter those out.

Bad PR. Same reason they no longer mention Kadabra ever, and indeed, Kadabra that are trade are forced to evolve to Alakazam. Even an Ever Stone won't prevent it.

It is a manifestation of that code in the real world.

Surge isn't from Kanto originally, he moved to Vermilion from somewhere in America.

The city already existed when he arrived and the previous gym leader may have used another type entirely. For example, Jasmine is mentioned as having changed her type specialty to Steel. Olivine isn't gray or yellow, it's green.

Also, the color-based names between the JP version of the game and the English version are different. Vermilion is a shade of red but the JP version uses a word which represents a color somewhere between brown and orange.

Also note that on the nugget bridge from the Kanto games, your player declines joining Team Rocket and you can hear the other character replying to you but you don't see the player's words
