>>23488261Well, a feel like a gym leader has to show its gym signature TM, in this case Dynamic Punch and Icy Wind that is acceptable on a slow team like Pryce's one, or Icy Wind paired with Ice Beam in case.
I feel Koga too, it took me more time compared to other characters, I thought about Electrode because...well I wouldn't wish Ariados or Beedrill or Butterfree to my worst enemy. Ariados at least was able to Baton Pass Double Team in the original games, but frail as it is it rarely happens. I remember Johto and Kanto gym leaders and league member also from my N64 Stadium series that offered some smart coverage for their teams, and Electrode was present in the anime as well beside being a mimic Pokemon and a trap by itself. It could pass over Gligar probably, Gligar however is needed for the Electric and Fire control.
Onix is one of the most iconic Pokemon of Bruno, made something in between his GSC and FRLG team where he has two Steelix in the rematch.
I'm not sure on what I should switch for Vital Throw, Machamp is so slow and back in Gen2 Vital Throw hits like a truck as much as it does in FRLG tho.
While checking again Karen teams, she's a typical Ghost / Dark trainer that abuses RNG and both major and volatile status, didn't want to completely change her style but it is still better than her original Gengar, at this point of the game, between Koga and Karen the player has wasted lot of PPs and items in general, Curse only helps this league challenge. However it may use this set in the rematch. Most of trainer Gengar would end with the same set otherwise.
Yep, Lance's Gyarados may pass with Rain Dance too, most of ingame Gyarados use this set, Dragon Rage is okay too even during L.50 ranges when it is still a 3-4HKO. Gyarados was so useless back then, most of Gen2 Pokemon move compatibility was fixed only later.
Would have tried Hidden Power on some Pokemon but it probably requires some obscure coding I don't know, would be okay only themed mons.
