I have in my head an episode of pokemon where ash goes back to oaks (i think) and theres a new trainer there and his dislikes all the starters but gets bulbasaur.
He thinks bulbasaur is shit but thru the episode they are getting chased by a pack of mankeys so ashs bulbasaur saves the boy by doing a solarbeam above the mankeys heads to show how powerful he is.
What episode is this or atleast when did this occur in the anime?
