What if there was an in-game market that could buy and sell pokemon for pokedollars?

What do you think would be a good formula for determining a pokemon's value?

fotm shit would be like 3-5 dollars
SUPER RARE NEVER EVER would be like 50+, but that would be a problem with pokesav and shit

Like (level) * (highest IV) * (base value of the species) * (other variables here, like if it has its hidden ability or egg moves)

It could be done with battle points from the maison. 200 points for a specific Pokemon, 100 points per egg move you choose, 100 for HA, 100 for nature and 200 for perfect IVs. It would give a use to the maison after you've gotten all of the items they sell

Pokémon base value is the pokemon's BST.
Add 1 pokebuck for each IV and one for each EV it has.

Add 10 pokebucks for having a non-neutral nature. Nobody likes neutral natures.

Add 10 pokebucks for each level it has.

Now double the price if it's legendary.

How's that?

Maybe you request a specific mon to an NPC and after a while in in-game time they come back with a pseudo-random set for it.

Nintendo could grab the stats from VGC for movesets/items/abilities/natures and you'd pay whatever the cost of it based on what the NPC brings back.

Say you want a Salamence. Tell the NPC and come back after an arbitrary amount of time. He shows you a Mence with intimidate but with modest nature or something. Then you either accept and spend the points or decline and have him bring you another random set.

coefficient C from 0.1-1 depending on the pokemon (mystical legendaries are a 1, wurmple would be a 0.1 * LV/2 rounded up * average IV, but at least 1 * 1000 or 10000 if shiny:

wurmple level 1, all IVs 0 non shiny:
C*LV/2*IV*1000=
0,1*1*1*1000 = 100 pokedollar

Shiny mew level 100 all IVs 31:
C*LV/2*IV*10000=
1*50*31*10000 = 15,500,000 poke dollar

sounds reasonable to me

I would make each perfect IV over 3 multiply the price by 3 for legendaries.
Non-legends could have a 5x modifier for hexaperfect or something.
