Sugimori's RBY depicts the Jigglypuff line as pale pink with blue eyes, as did the anime back then.
His updated Jigglypuff from FRLG featured more vivid colors, going for rose pink and sea blue.
However the anime adopted portraying Jigglypuff as pale pink with green eyes (like the shiny) and most merchandise and anime promotional material both old and new as well as most spinoff video games depict Jigglypuff as fuschia with green eyes.

Why is there such inconsistency with this particular Pokémon, is there another one that receives the same treatment?
