how are they going to explain a Pokemon unevolving? unless a Mega Evolution of the pre-evo is just a regular evolution. that would be pretty funny if it was the case.

yes and there are people suggesting that for a Mantine MEGA evolution the Remoraid under its wing becomes an Octillery. after the Mega Evolution is done it's assumed that the Octillery turns back. do you follow?

Mantine needs a regular evolution, to complete his line and make him actually useable. Skyrocket that Speed, bolster the HP and Defence, just give the poor ray somethin'
