Landorus-I is one of those Pokemon that, while unbearable when it is good in the metagame, finds the metagame adapting to it. Think about when Mega Cross / Mega Garde / and Mega Medicham were everywhere after Aegislash was banned, and everybody wanted those suspected until the metagame adapted to it (the same applied to Zard X and Thundurus). However, Lando-I is better than it was in early XY, since it is much freer to use coverage than it could ever before. That being said, I do not deny the worth of this suspect, as Lando-I can be annoying to handle, especially since it can easily tinker its coverage to beat whatever it wants.

it shouldnt be banned imo. granted I haven't played OU like in 3 weeks or so. Its not broken. Yes it has great speed, typing and good coverage but it won't sweep you if you have a competent team. Its a pokemon thats very good at what it does just like its bro, landorus T.

I know, but checking 2/3 of a core is still pretty good, and clef doesnt necessarily wall either of those mons.

And for the record Lando-I isn't one of the annoying ones that people on /vp/ wanted banned. Thundurus a shit due to priority skill wave combined with the great sweeping stats. Lando-T was a shit because it had a high usage rate and was incredibly skill-less to spam Uturn+Knock Off+EQ.

Speed means nothing against Thundy. In fact, even if you're running something that outspeeds with SE attacks (Weavile for one), the very fact that it's fast enough to outspeed base 111 means it RELIES on that speed to be effective. And you won't be able to take it down without being paralyzed in the process. Unless it's in Ice Shard range which is kinda difficult to get it down to without one of your pokemon taking massive damage or getting KO'd.

Lando-T just harasses any kind of physical sweeper, and it can fuck you so many times throughout a match. You can have Rocks up and the fucker down to 13% HP and it's still going to be a major hindrance to your physical sweeper.

Lando-I has always been a cakewalk compared to those two, maybe it's because I play primarily offense but it really isn't that threatening toward offensive teams.

If you're referring to my post first of all lrn2quote, secondly I didn't say I struggle with them they're just more annoying. So they would be more cancerous than Lando-I but not necessarily harder to take down. There is nothing cancerous about Lando-I it's borderline slow and it's three most common attacks all have immunities. That was phrased weirdly: there are immunities for all three of its most used attacks.
