ITT: We discuss Game Freak's most outstanding artist - Ken Sugimori!

I personally believe that Sugimori should get more recognition and appreciation. His illustrations are very vivid and unique. I've always been impressed by the colour combinations that Sugimori uses, they really bring a Pokémon to life, so to speak.

Lately I've been thinking about what the future of Pokémon would be like with the absence of Sugimori. Will the he future Pokémon illustrations be as iconic as Sugimori's if he is ever replaced?
