As for her actions, I think they were justified for someone in her position. I mean, she was completely wrong and she almost fucked everything up, but I can see why she made that mistake. They were obviously going for a "primal girl" image, with her clothes and the way she moves, so a distrust of technology isn't very surprising. From your point of view, if some people were trying to use some crystal magic to save the world but you had a technological solution to it, you'd probably laugh and kick their crystal over too, because you're sure your way is "better".
She also gets points because when Fug doesn't Mega, the look on her face clearly shows she's just realised the terrifying depths to which she just fucked up. Makes sense that she left after the Delta Episode, almost killing thousands of people because of your own pride takes some atonement.
