I have a little personal question to ask you guys.

What aspect of Pokemon do you play it for?

When you play the game, do you focus solely on the competitive mechanics of the game? IVs, EVs, natures, strategies, planning, team placement, etc?

Or do you play for the aesthetics? The story, the characters, the environment, the feeling of adventure and exploration? Do you simplify your team placement and actually care about your teammates sentimentally?

In short, when you play Pokemon are you in it for the competition or the adventure itself?
