when i was a kid, playing crystal, i heard there was a dark type (ooh new type so cool) eevee evolution, so i busted my ass trying to figure out how it would evolve. eventually it did, really late, and it ended up being the first mon i leveled up to level 100 solely by hand, no rare candy bullshit from gen 1.
eventually i stopped playing. then i got a black cat. i like to think it's her.
