Some positives first:
>Characters' redesigns are good. Story is better told as well (mainly because it is more "epic" + Archie and Maxie have better personalities).>Gameplay from originals is improved by adding some features (for example Dexnav, soaring and PlayNav).>Encounter rate is lowered in caves and on water it seems. I love it.>Breeding and training is way easier than it was in X/Y.Now, for some negative aspects of the remakes:

Music was changed in such a way that it's hard for me to tell if you're going to like it. Personally, I love ORAS soundtrack however some tracks were used too often taking away from my experience (Rustboro, Mauville and Mossdeep have the same theme for example).
