To be fair water is a conductor of electricity so it lets electricity freely pass through it, so yes it doesn't "hurt" water.

But since water types are mostly water it makes it easier for electricity to pass through them and hurt their organs etc.

The fairy type is partially based on old school fairies. Magic beats fighters easily while keeping them from doing shit back. Bug I really have no clue there. And fae are basically dark types wrapped in a cloying, lying, asshole shell with magic powers thrown in for good measure, hence why dark types do shit to them

However, Fae should be weak to Electric since a lot of mythical beings are said to no longer appear due to all the tech - the tech drives them away
