They each intro a mechanic, though

Pichu intro'd baby Pokemon, Plusle and Minun intro'd Doubles, Pachi intro'd the phys/spec split I'm pretty sure, Dedenne intro'd the fairy type, and Accelgor intro'd spontaneous transformation from rat to ninja bug

Where all are they forcing it? I haven't really kept up with this. I know it got an extra signature move for one thing, as well as being the most powerful of the starters although I don't think that was necessarily intended. Smash obviously doesn't count because that was Sakurai's choice and it wasn't forced on him. Amiibo doesn't count either due to being a Smash character.

They're not. People just get all butthurt when a pokeyman they don't like gets popular, so they resort to blaming it on the boogeyman. Gamefreak has not actively pushed any pokemon besides Lucario, Zoroark, the legendaries and some eevelutions and Post Gen-V Charizard.

Why do people complain about pikachu look a likes? You can take any pokemon...ANY and find about 6 others who are similar in some way or another. Oddly enough all the pokemon listed (except the weird random bug) are all the same egg group. So naturally they'd look some what similar. Why are there so many pokemon haters that always hate on one tiny thing that isn't a thing until they make it one. If you don't like 6 pokemon pick another 6 from literally hundreds of others.

Get gud

Plusle and Minun were introduced for double battles and were built for it. Their abilities boost each other's stats and their overall moveset is great together in double battles, don't use them separate

Pachirisu has the advantage of being a squirrel and having access to Super fang, being the bane of wall's since it cuts your opponents health in half

Emolga is immune to ground types and a great counter that also has flying type moves as well as motor drive as its HA

Dedenne is half fairy, pretty much giving it resistance and STAB and has access to parabolic charge which restores it's health

But those are entirely legitimate reasons to not count those, are you stupid? Nobody except Sakurai had any say on Greninja being in Smash 4, he specifically chose it on his own after deciding a Gen VI Pokémon should be in(again, on his own), and all Smash characters get an Amiibo.

Well, technically, the rest of the Smash team also had a say in choosing the pokemon rep, but most of them also chose Greninja, so there's no big difference.
