Does it really bother you so much that others only like the first gen?
To me gen 1 and gen 2 were good and then 97.5 of all other Pokemon suck.
Does this make me a gen 1er? It's not because of nostalgia it's because so many do actually suck.
Maybe they could have came up with better characters if they only added like 20 new characters after gen2 rather than rushing the designs and coming up with lots of crap characters.
But besides that why do the opinions of gen 1 era mean so much to you?
