We cannot know his age. The writers try as hard as they can to age him, but they still cannot quit the status quo of 10 because it applies to younger children. It is obvious that he's much older now, but we will never know his age (unless it's in hints) because it's a carefully balanced status quo. The show is mostly watched by 10 year olds, so if they say he's older then the hero will be less like them, and it can hurt show's raitings.

People made research with adding all the time periods that were mentioned in the anime, turns out Ash is 14 - 15 years old, which can make perfect sense even with his appearance. Call me a shipperfag but I feel that blushes are always the biggest signs of hints of love for someone. And because of that I feel Amour has kind of dipped in quality since XY060, where she blushed over Ash noticing the ribbon. Compared to when her hair was long, she seemed to do it far more often and it seem to be brought up more often ad well. A 23 episodes gap with Serena not showing any solid signs through blushing is odd to me if they're serious about the subplot, and that's if Millefeui ' s return will even have Serena spilling spaghetti over Ash. Sure you could argue that 64, 67, and 70 were signs...but in my view it's either blush or bust.

I think either Milotic or Altaria would be good for Shauna since both were former contest Pokemon that are known for beauty, mainly Milotic. Altaria would fit with ORAS and gives her a potential mega if they wish to incorporate mega into performances. As for Milotic, its known as a beautiful Pokemon and if its appeal is good for contests then its beauty would be just as useful for Shauna as a performer.

However, if you max a Feebas' beauty in gen 3 or 4, then trade it to a gen 5 game, you can level it up once and it'll evolve.
