>>23540740>>23552063These are the truth. I honestly will never understand why /vp/ thinks XY were rushed while glorifying BW2 at the same time. To me, completely overhauled online capabilities, biggest graphical leap in the entire series, a new Pokemon type, a new evolution method, improved breeding mechanics as well as all kinds of other stuff like Pokemon Amie, horde encounters, Super Training, Wonder Trade, and character customizing are the exact opposite of "half-assed and rushed". We can always compare this package to Gen V, which brought us the smallest amount of upgrades in the entire series, being pretty much limited to unlimited TMs and two battling formats that are hardly ever seen. Gen V is also the only Generation so far that manages to look worse than its predecessor, how did they manage to do that? BW2 are essentially just BW with a couple of new town added so that they can be called different games, yet this is somehow not rushed. I guess the logic of Gen V fanbase is that if you make half of the region accessible only after beating E4, it counts as great post-game, and as we all know, that's all that matters.
