If you are under the age of 21, then can you explain to me why you're a Pokemon fan? Before you say anything, I'm not a "genwunner" or whatever you call those people. I was never that much into Pokemon as a kid because I didn't like how obsessed everyone was with the franchise. I was much more into my PS1 JRPGs. It is to my understanding that after around 2001ish, Pokemon started to become very unpopular with kids(at least, that's how it operated in my school), so for anyone who is now around 18-20, they would never grown up in a time when Pokemon was never popular. I can see someone my age still liking Pokemon because of the nostalgia factor, but kids in their late teens/very early 20s liking it makes no sense to me. You never got to have really any awesome experiences with the franchise that could stick with my for years to come.
