It turned out pretty ok, really. Better coverage and a reliable way to boost stats would be all it really needs in its current state. Certainly a vast improvement and far from trash or a total waste.

Very satisfied. By far the best design out of any mega. Any. Got even bulkier, so any physical attack is pretty much worthless against him, plus with the extra weight, heavy slam fucking demolishes.

I love the design, but the stats and ability kinda suck.

I wish defense wasn't boosted at all. I would much rather have 75/200/125 bulk than 75/230/95.

It also doesn't have any recovery at all, so it can't make the most of its bulk.

At least it looks great.

I have a gimmick team where I do triples, have two bronzongs on the side that support him. I wouldn't say I sweep, but I do win more than a lose even against Jap kiddies with teams full of legendaries.

I suppose Aggron would be better, but it's a matter of preference.

It's okay, but not really enough to be very useful. I find it to be the best looking Mega, though, which is saying a lot when megas like Pinsir and Beedrill and Gengar exist.

Extremely impressed

I don't know why Gardevoir got a boost to its physical attack that it won't use, and the 100 speed puts it at just the minimum threshold of being fast.

Gallade fixes that with stats in the all the places it needs, giving it very respectable defenses at 68/95/115, making you a 2HKO on a jolly Garchomp's earthquake, and respond back in kind with a good ice punch.

The much needed speed boost to 110 also puts him in a very competitive speed range. And the 165 ATK just rounds him out so you can use him as needed, either a devastating wallbreaker or just go to down with his nearly flawless coverage movepool.

Almost couldn't have worked out better. I was worried about the mixed approach to the offensive boosts when it was first announced, but it ended up great. The combination of type, movepool, bulk, and unpredictability is awesome. Overall pretty perfect as a Mega: it is solid and useful without being broken, and it vastly improved a Pokemon who was formerly very lacking. Also the design is cuddly and majestic.

Losing it's rock type I think was a godsend. Mega Aggron boasts 10 resistances, an immunity and with filter makes it's three weakness hit for just over neutral damage.

The design is not too bad, it is what I expected, a fat steel wall.

Which is a good thing, as design of a Pokemon is far less likely to change in ANY way than its viability or gameplay mode.

Shame about ability, but it looks that they aimed to balance M-Gallade and M-Medicham against each other.

They combined my favorite Pokemon with my favorite JRPG, I can't be dissatisfied with that. Would've liked a super-Sandstream to go with it, but it's already motherfucking Psaro the Manslayer model IX in Pokemon form. I think I creamed my pants the first time I saw it.

I also got a new Mega bro in Mega Aerodactyl, which combines my favorite fossil with my second-favorite game series. Seriously, that thing was such a bro in Y, holy shit. Feels good knowing that Rock Rathian is just one round of new moves and power creep away from being elder god tier.
