tier raises and drops are coming soon - Gallade and Hitmonchan are pretty much guaranteed to drop to NU though

Tornadus is a decent Landorus and Gengar check on Balance, the best playstyle atm. With Lando being so good, having a check to it is important, hence Tornadus rising in usage.

Lando only really fits on Offense, generally a playstyle not as good as Balance so it naturally gets used less.

why haven't they updated it yet, btw? and why is kingdra still RU there, and EVEN STILLER UU in the smogon dex? it dropped to RU and then was quickbanned. it should be BL2 on both!

Torn-T is amazing. I've been proudly contributing to its usage. I use the LO set and stall has literally nothing for it -- it's beautiful. Even outside of soloing stall (with some Regenerator tag-outs), it's a great mon that beats a lot of the things in the meta just by how hard it hits (when it does hit).

The only objection I have to its conception is that its Speed didn't deserve to be that high. Base 115 was more appropriate, and the excess 20 could've been tossed into SpAtk,

It gets stopped by most walls like Clefable, Skarmory, Celebi, Mew, Mandibuzz, etc. The only Mega Lops I take seriously are the ones that tech Power-Up Punch.

The serious threats are Mega Char-XY, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Metagross, and Mega Altaria. The non-Char ones are the reason so many Steel types have high usage.

A better comparison imo would be Bisharp, they're both balance breakers with priority and Knock Off. Weavile breaks a lot of typical balance cores, such as Jirachi+Hippowdon which can take on Bisharp but not Weavile.

A while ago, Bisharp was the go-to Dark type thanks to beating fairies handily, switching into Lati@s, and having Defiant. However, with the rise of Landorus and Bulky Garchomp and a general lack of preparedness for Weavile ("I'll use Chesnaught or Clefable as my dark checks"), Weavile is becoming just as if not more desirable.
