I was playing leafgreen. I was in icefall cave, when suddenly, a shiny golbat appeared, its hide a poisonous green. I sent out my pokemon, only to realize that all of my pokemon were too fucking op to get it into the red. So, summoning all of my willpower, I proceeded to empty my pokeball supply, hoping to ensnare the pokemon before me. I was able to get it to the yellow, but to this day, I am haunted by how this diabolical golbat managed to shatter every ultra ball, great ball, and pokeball I sent at it. Finally, as I threw my final poke ball, I faced the fact that I would forever have to live with the knowledge of what koing a shiny feels like. I commanded my lead to unleash hell upon the demon that had evaded my every attempt, and the magnificent green golbat was gone forever. Rest In RIP, my dear golbat. May angels sing thee to thy rest.
