I was working on a Chinpokomon Romhack for my friends and I at one point - basically a reskin of gen 1
The starters were Broccori, Hotdog, and Pengin
I came up with new ones, and evolutions for existing. Broccoli turned in to Call-A-Flower, and then Wikileek, which was basically just Julian Asange but with a leek for a body.
Since gen 1 only had 3 dragons, I just made dragon type in to "shoe" type, and made the Shoe line replace Dratini.
It went Shoe -> Boot -> Air Jordan
