I don't know why they didn't keep this feature in Gen VI. It was the best way to pump you up during a difficult fight.

Where there people who hated it?

I like how the warning beep just beeps 4 times then stops now. Before it was like, I know I'm hurt, just shut up so I can think how to fix this already.

I really don't like it. The beeping sound has been a core element of Pokémon since the beginning and having it to just stop after 3 seconds kinda goes against its original purpose to remind you constantly that you're in trouble.

Are you kidding? It was so fucking annoying. Making it really short instead of constant was the perfect compromise between not annoying the player, and also reminding them they're in trouble.
