Those comments really trigger my autism as someone who likes each Generation for what it's worth.

But regardless, that Facebook page isn't run by GameFreak, it's run by TPCi. They can whine all they want about a RBGY remake, but they're just wasting their time. No one is going to listen to them.

To be honest, the Gen I pandering that they doesn't really bother me. Like the layout of Santalune Forest being exactly the same as Viridian Forest? That doesn't bother me. It's just a fun little Easter Egg. The same kind of applies to the Team Flare mimicking Team Rocket; it all doesn't bother me.

Don't get me wrong, when they do it in excess, then it gets kind of annoying, but otherwise I'm fine with it. It's just their way of celebrating the original games, and if that's what they do to cater to those people, then more power to them.

If they remake the Kanto Games, I'll still buy them. But I know they're not going to, at least not right now, so I'm okay with it.

FRLG not good enough? Sure it doesn't have the physical/special split, but the gameplay is otherwise about the same and the Pokémon in it can still be transferred to the current games, although it's extremely cumbersome.
