Makuhita just trains and trains, Sawk trains (and will get angry and attack if interrupted). Meditite's training "never ends."
Throh and Tyrouge want to fight stronger foes to become stronger (you could consider this heroic, but again it seems to be focused on their desire to be stronger)
Hitmonlee/chan and Mienshao are based upon styles of martial arts
Poliwrath is just a strong swimmer, as much of a bro as it is there's nothing inherently "good" about it
Heracross is "usually docile, but if disturbed while sipping honey, it chases off the intruder with its horn." In other words, just a peaceful bug that doesn't want to be interrupted while eating; Not evil, but again not heroic.
