dragon guy from gens 1 and 2 had rare and dragon like pokemon, including a fossil, and a (three) pseudo(s).
steven might be steel but he had the fossils and claydol which is all about that regi hoenn theme. plus a pseudo.
cynthia was all about rare/precious pokemon. she also had the pseudo, plus the shiny stone evolutions, lucario who is also its own special little flake, spiritomb who had no weaknesses and was hard as fuck to get, and milotic who is also hard to get.
addler had the trade bugs, the other magical special bug, a dragon which is related to royalty. iris was kinda related to dragons or dragon like monsters like gen 1 and 2 guy.
in this gen she had the pseudo, the fossils, the fairy mega, the new typing mon with its special signature move.
that guy just has random stuff, i honestly have no idea why manectric or magmortar are in there. why not have duos (either electivire and magmortar, or manectric and houndoom)? bisharp, clefable and goodra are good enough i guess, i also like the mega.
