i used Lickitung and Tangela in Platinum because they actually got a useful evolution

Dewgong is some dank shit in Kanto nuzlockes. Almost always the encounter in Articuno's place if you don't repelscum for Articuno, and sweeps Lance easy.

I used Tangela in LG in preparation for Tangrowth in Diamond, which wasn't out yet.
Most people I know forget about Lickitung and Seel though, usually the more genwunner friends.
