ORAS was pretty good as far as level curve goes, I turned the Exp. Share on and off to stay about the same level as the NPCs.
I don't know why people complain about the Exp. Share, it just makes grinding easier. Turn it off if you don't like it. Grinding in Platinum is making me want to pull all hair out, I mean holy shit there's no where to grind once you get to Pastoria City. So now my team is stuck at level 32-35 when they need to be level 37.
