>I don't recall getting a mandatory, gifted mega-zoroark half way through any game.Zoroark had already lost most of its populatity by the time X/Y rolled about, which is exactly what Anon said to you. I think it's because of his gimmicky ability which draws away attention from Zoroark itself but that's another story.
>I don't recall zoroark statues and pokemon literally ham-fistedly worshiping and drooling over it.Lucario had this as one of its primary traits, it was before the pandering started. Besides this only appeared in ET, in the following games it didn't exist.
>Playable Zoroark in Smash to replace a much more popular pokemon, whether we want him or not? Doesn't ring a bell.I agree with you, it would have been the natural way to go. But Gen V was already old news when SSB4 came out, so a Gen VI representative would make more sense, hence Greninja. Also, as I said, Zoroark lacks the combat versatility that Lucario has (though same can be said about Greninja so whatever).
>Playable Zoroark in Smash to replace a much more popular pokemon, whether we want him or not? Doesn't ring a bell.Again, Zoroark wasn't that popular anymore so its marketing stopped.
>a man wearing a fucking fedoraniceme.me>In BW you cant even get a Zorua/Zoroark without an event Celebi.Dumb "marketing", one of the reasons why Zoroark didn't become as popular: you couldn't even get to use it. Really agree with you on this.
