And before you say that they don't matter, that still doesn't explain why the old in-game trade couple in Cerulean City is still living in their house from Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, FireRed, and LeafGreen in Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver.
