You'd need to be absurdly lucky with items. Reliant on fucking gravellerocks the entire time. Need 20 joy seeds ASAP that isn't as silly as it sounds, destiny tower has fucked items. Possibly need a pass or warp scarf.

20 joy seeds would give you the stats you would normally have at level 10. And you still will take an eternity to level up.
But 30 joy seeds will max out your stats and make the dungeon trivial.

Both of those scarves. And a detect band. On floor one.
Here's how it would work.

>F1
Find a warp scarf in the room you spawn in with no enemies. if this doesn't happen restart. A pass scarf works too.
>F2-10
Keep only sleep, stun, warp and hunger seeds, these are your defence against any pokemon you accidentally warp into.
Eat joy seeds immediately.
Keep a handful of food items on you. Maybe like three apples tops.
Don't even bother with vitamins and orbs at this point.
>F11-30
If you aren't dead yet.
Start collecting orbs that will help with monster houses. Petrify, Foe-Hold, Foe-Seal, Foe-Fear are the usual suspects.
>F31-99
God help you.

Always put the pass scarf on when going to a new floor.
If you somehow get 20 joy seeds, each one after that is like +30 in every stat or something equally hilarious.
X-ray specs are a godsend to boot, put them on for one turn at the start of a floor to scout enemies.

This might be somewhat possible with savestate abuse and stupid luck.

It was LONG due.

But I guess these games don't appeal to the usual Pokémon player since the main games are mostly about the multiplayer after the story ends while in these the story matters and the gameplay is about exploring/crawling dungeons by yourself.

Floor 33 of Destiny Tower, third or the way done. Level 17, found a ton of Life Seeds and Sitrus Berries. This looks more like a cave than a tower.

Should i keep giving updates through this dungeon, or should i just shot up until i get to the end?

Floor 40, level 18, HP is now in the triple digits. One nice tip i have to offer is on the floors with Quagsire, it's worth it to hang around a bit to kill some, they give absurd Exp for that early in the dungeon.

DON'T switch Sweet Kiss for Sing, many enemies later on have Nonsleeper, I found this out the hard way yesterday during Zero Isle South.

Signora Swanna's Inn was a full fledged tavern complete with a few rooms for rent. She didn't provide any service for the character as far as I remember, but the Inn was the popular place in town for gathering and several times scenes during the story happened there.

I blew it.

I should have killed that Scizor while it was confused, but i tried to get away.

Ran into a monster house nearly right away on floor 85, used a Totter orb to get away when i should have just used a Petrify Orb. Leveled up shortly before this. What followed was a long path ending in pic related. Sorry for letting everybody down, i'll give this another shot tomorrow, but i'll still be posting.

Oddly enough, i'm not really mad. I'm glad i got this far at least, and this far is pretty good for my first time in there.

The only time this ever matters is when doing level 1 dungeons, and it's an incredibly minor point when abilities and moves are much more important.

You can buff any mon's stats to 255, the limit, and make them into a killing machine.

(I never played darkness/time/sky) Do they just take place in different time periods or on different continents? Also, why are there no humans at all? Extremely situational, i'd only use them in Purity Forest as an Alakazam if i found the TM and had an open moveslot. They could still be helpful though

Not on the eShop, it's a DS title. You'd have to find a physical copy, get a flashcart, or emulate. I recommend the latter two since a flashcart is super useful and DS emulation is pretty decent.

DS games aren't made anymore, you either have to buy one used, get ripped off trying to by a new copy, or play it on an emulator/flashcard.

Because it's obnoxious to get it wrong when all the pictures are blurry or cropped out, like with the street sign captchas. It's worse when you're on a faster board and trying to prevent a thread from 404ing.

Eh, if they're obvious I select them sometimes, or leave one out, or select a wrong one on purpose, or select them randomly.
I don't really know, maybe if you tend to give wrong answers it makes it easier for you to get a right one (even though it should be wrong)? I have no idea, but so far I haven't had any problem.

Four Wooper Bows, which protect from weather damage. Seeing as how Wooper's already part Ground, that just means hail doesn't hurt, not worth keeping in the bag. Was also told the treasure boxes that enemies drop were great, this isn't the case. Out of 2 pages, one box had an Iron and another had a Dawn Stone.

If you're going to go to Zero Isle, go North for Wonder Gummis or South for a shot at Tight Belts. Don't waste your time in the other ones.

I'm about to try explorers of sky out but my autism is flaring up. Do any of the starters/partners have abilities or movepools that outclass the others? It really bugs me when I'm in the middle of a game and realize I'm doing something irreversibly suboptimal.

Right now I'm assigned bulbasaur and thinking of going with phanpy or sphinx.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we're getting a sprite pallet for reactions in Super, but the models just need more character in expressions I think...
But I know I can't ask for the world, the improvements I've seen so far already make it look like this game will be great.
