Most Pokemon designs are simple enough to appeal to a larger audience while this shit only appeal to autistic Japanese children, and apparently despite Japan's plummeting birth rates there's a lot of them.
It's trying to replace a franchise that's been around for 20 years by being shittier, a franchise that became popular from the first games, meanwhile this has been around for a few years and it's only now kinda catching on. Let me know how that works.
