You can get it ready in a day if all you do is sit around at home all day.I built my Battle of Hoenn team in three or four days.

It resists both its stabs. Now I know hydra can learn flash cannon but florges has a huge base special defense stat to take flash cannon if it needs to.

You can raise the accuracy by using telekinesis and hold a wide lens. Dynamic Punch is pretty accurate after that.

At the very least use dazzling gleam or some shit. Dynamic Punch won't do shit off of Gengar's impressive base 65 attack

I'm running trick room eviolite doublade and chandelure up front with tom-wash and weaving as sweeper support. We'll see how things go, I guess. I completely thrashed my friends spooky team, but I'm honestly not that good against really skilled players

Actually very well. I've been carrying willowisp and hex to cripple anything physical and then double team since I'm extremely lucky with it. I honestly don't think it'd stand too well on its own, but as a partner to doublade in spooky it's pretty freakin hard to take down.

I gave a lot of defensive EVs to Pokémon where you'd normally see speed EVs, because I'm running Trick Room. In the case that gets shut down, I gave Rotom-W Thunder Wave.

It makes a lot of them bulkier than most people would expect.

I'd switch items between Aegislash and Hydreigon but that's my preference (WP Aegislash is pretty good).
Gothitelle will have hard time in this meta.

Also, a hint:
The only things immune to Shadow Ball are dark types so you may want to rethink some movesets. Isn't necessary though.

Regarding your question - battles are random (I fought the same japanese guy in 1 competition). The only rule is that the enemy has to have similar amount of points AFAIK.

I switched out Gothitelle for Sableye at the last minute because I anticipated Dark moves left and right. Did not regret my decision, but strangely enough the only times I have seen a Dark move being used was when I use it: Hydreigon's Dark Pulse or Krookodile's Knock Off. Kind of curious how Gothitelle would have worked out now.

I'm currently 13 - 10.

My team is Volcarona, Galvantula, Gengar, Arbok, Parasect and Trevenant.

Volcarona is MVP, Parasect and Arbok are surprisingly amazing and Gengar is surprisingly disappointing.

Gathered my friends and battled a lot today. 20 wins, 7 loses (2 due to disconnects sadly) - 27 battles in total. Had to wait a long time for some opponents.

My hyperoffensive team I've mentioned >>24512831 works quite well. Every Pokemon is useful but the best ones are Weavile and Chandelure.

Few things to add:
>Almost everyone uses Volcarona but not many people can deal with its counters
>Gengar is better than people expected
>There is a surprisingly average amount of Hydreigons in battles
>Gimmicky teams are shit (looking at you, Swaggster users)
>People actually use items like Dragon Fang and Dread Plate on Hydreigon
>People do not use Weakness Policy Aegislash (like... I found only ONE)

Saved some recordings for later if someone is interested.
Added my in-game name because I wonder if someone from here fought me.

Isn't Rotom-Heat a better form to take care of Volcarona or is the harsh Sp.Attack drop the issue with it compared to Hydro Miss?

Damn I'm at 16:18 right now. I'm fighting a lot of japanese guys and I consistently have trouble against things like aegislash and wash.

I kinda keep being good enough to win against most people below the 1500 mark, but I usually get my ass beat when I rise above it myself.

I also got like 3 disconnects as soon as I was winning.

Only have 15 battles under my belt, but I can already say I'm really satisfied with my current team. Hanging at 10-5 win/loss, which is below avarage, but I hope I can make it up in the upcoming battles.

The most interesting team I fought so far was a guy who used Liepard to boost his Malamar with moves like Charm and Fake Tears. Ultimately he only managed to KO one of my Pokemon thanks to some smart switching but I still lost the battle due to what I suspect was an AssVest Muk. Wish I had saved that battle.

No, unfortunately. This is the monthly/seasonal online competition Nintendo/Game Freak hosts every now and then. It lasts for 3 days, today or tomorrow being the last day. It is not a tournament, but more like showdown where you have a rating system. The more wins the higher your score is, the more losses the lower your score is.

Well it is more likely that Heat Wave is the only attack those Volcarona users have on their Volcarona. I personally use Flamethrower because of Wide Guard, but I'm weird like that. Fire Blast has too shaky accuracy to reliably use and Overheat is Rotom-H territory.

Today was a pretty shitty day as opposed to yesterday.
I happened to cross my path with a few obvious hackers and I had tons of disconnections (one of which happened right after I won, fucking retarded).

Well, tourney ended just about 1,5 hours ago. Managed to squeeze in 33 battles, with two randomly ending with a disconnection on my side. I ended with 22 wins and 11 loses. It's okay/10, I enjoyed using this team.

I'm surprised I didn't see more Murkrows. Pretty sure I only fought one other person who used this based little bird.

A battle against some Jap in high 1700s. As I quickly found out, my team struggles heavily against Rotom-W, and this battle shows this perfectly.

Since I was running a Tailwind team, Trick Room teams were another one that proved to be problematic, so I was often forced to cheese. One interesting thing I learned in this battle is that Rage Powder can redirect attacks even if you target them on your own Pokemon.
