The point is that for it to be overcentralizing it would have to be an essential part of any team and limit builds. As it stands now, many teams don't run hazards/hazard removers because the majority of teams don't run something that's hit hard or suffers too much from SR. That shows it's neither limiting nor an essential part of the game. Now, if we were talking Gen V, then yeah, I could probably argue a suspect, but not in this meta.

Ho-Oh is not really that flexible enough to be running two or more roles. Its usually bulky or CB. I mean yeah it's really good at what it does and it admittedly wouldn't need Defog support with SR gone but the most common defoggers in ubers are things like latias or arceus which are pretty damn good mons, especially defensive waterceus that can stall out more than a few of ho-oh's checks.
And like I said regenerator really just does make SR an inconvenience.
