gen 2, tyrinitar really came in big for me. when pupitar evolved at lvl 50 into this monstrosity my joy knew no bounds. it was my first step into realizing how awasome rock types are, when they aren't burdened by the boring (but not lame) ground type. pity it got sandstream following gen, as it kinda limited my team building and really dropped it's value in my eyes, but i still value it for one of my good silver memories.
