Electric/poison would be pretty cool. It could be a leaky battery or something. Another poison combo I wouldn't mind would be poison/ice, and then fairy/ghost could be pretty cool.

I for one would love actual fully-evolved Bug/Ground and Bug/Water Pokemon, since those are two of the best part-Bug combinations along with Bug/Steel and Bug/Electric.

I'm not too fond of bug ground as a typing. The two types don't really cover each other's weaknesses very well and leave some serious weaknesses to water and fire. Offensively, both STABs are resisted by flying and when your STABs can be neutered by one type alone, that's a recipe for disaster unless the thing's got serious coverage.

In terms of Design though, I'm fairly optimistic since there's a alot of room for potential bugs here. I've gotten tired of the bug/steel pokemon, even if that's the best type combo with bugs.

it's just too bad poison and fire have a lot of overlapping resistances so it really isn't any better defensively. And it even already get flamethrower and will-o-wisp. and t-bolt for water coverage

I actually have a wish to get 3 final evolutions(or megas whatever) to Muk, Weezing and Garbodor turning them into Poison/Water, Poison/Electric and Poison/Fire respectively. Weezing gets the best deal there because it only adds resistances.

It learns Thunderbolt and Thunder. And that's probably because everything in gen 1 learned those moves but how about Weezing gains enough mass and becomes a poisonous thunder cloud?

I'd say for possible mega retypes:
Poison/Water for Muk (water pollution)
Poison/Fire for Weezing (learns fire moves, and goes well with exploding mine and exploding gases)
Poison/Steel for Garbodor (industrial pollution)
All of them are novel types, and if they all gained a poison recovery move, they wouldn't miss black sludge. Gen 7 poison gen when?

I don't think Ice-types need to have more resistances. They're supposed to be a great offensive and poor defensive type, and they are. What Game Freak needs to do is make more Pokémon that play to that strength, such as Weavile. Right now too many Ice Pokémon are slow and bulky, and that is why they suck.
