>>24528145New Megas are likely inevitable, but I wouldn't mind seeing them try some different evolution tactics as well, rather than just pouring out megas. We had some bizarre evolutions, like holding the 3ds upside-down, I want to see even more crazy shit. That kind of weird gimicky stuff is fun to discover and adds some mystery and memorability to the game. Like the truck in Gen 1, or cloning in Gen 2.
I'd also like to see integration and improvements of XY and ORAS mechanics.
Specifically:
-More uses for rollerblading (Like learning tricks that help you access new areas, giving the option for more exploration to players who want to go off the tracks)
-More character customization (Maybe make some items rewards for certain accomplishments to give a sense of progress)
-Improved or at least more varied VR training that doesn't feel so grindy and isn't completely outclassed by horde battles.
-Better sneaking mechanics. Sneaking is fun at first, but gets tedious after a while, particularly in areas with ledges. Ideally, you'd be able to use bait or lures to bring out specific pokemon on a route, and perhaps a feature to make it more likely to bump into mons you haven't seen/captured yet.
-Keep soaring. If possible, remove or shorten the cutseen, though that may not be feasible with current hardware. Also, maybe add some things to do while in the air to help make it that much more enjoyable.
-Remove the other HMs. Soaring eliminates the need to carry Fly, let's get rid of the need to pack Rock Smash, Cut, Strength, Waterfall, and the other HMs while we're at it. These moves can still be in the game, but they don't need to hog precious move slots.
-Fix team Flare. For a cult ready to use an extinction gun to wipe out all pokemon and a huge chunk of the human race, they really never felt menacing. ORAS managed to give Magma and Aqua some personality (not much, but better than the originals). Hopefully something similar can be done with Flare.
