I was replaying Pokemon Diamond was shocked to find out that Crasher Wake can be challenged as the 3rd Gym. Anyone else do this before? I can't really find any websites mentioning it.

they changed up the gym order in platinum. In Platinum I think he's like the 6th gym leader?

No, it's just that Sinnoh is non-linear as fuck so you can do a handful of the gyms in whatever order. Obviously level wise you get guided towards a certain order but you can just grind I guess.

I wish the games nowadays let you do the gyms at little bit out of order. The fucking road blocker in ORAS that wouldn't let you pass without Winona's badge pissed me the fuck off.

It was the roadblockers in X and Y that pissed me off. Especially a Team Flare member in Laverre City that kept me from getting a Pokemon I REALLY wanted to get before the Gym Battle.

It was able to be found in another route, but I was blocked at that gate as well.

I liked being able to face anyone of Chuck, Pryce, and Jasmine in any order in G/S/C, and always did them in a different order each time. Same thing with gyms 3 through 6 in R/B/Y. On his first play through of Red my brother fought Surge 4th, and only because he learned he couldn't use Fly outside of battle without doing so.
