Scald is a high reward low risk move (only risky when you have like storm drain/water absorb/conk/etc, and that's not really often, especially in higher tiers) and clerics are too passive to do anything else - unless it's like mAlt. Knock off can also be spammed frequently without too many adverse effects, and still can cripple Pokemon that resist it. Whimsy and klefki are both cancer with how prankster works, so seeing them become obsolete wouldn't be too bad. And if you introduce a Pokemon to counter genies, it will be very likely that that Pokemon will become cancer too. Look at most fairies.
