Another day, another case of Poké-Murder. The normally quiet streets were filled with cries of outrage today as it transpired that the young man known to police as "Pokemon Trainer Joey" has struck again.
"This is the third Eevee this year!" Said one angry protester.
"Its not a case of stopping people owning Pokemon, its a case of getting better protection for them."
Reports state that at exactly 9:53pm on Monday night, Joey dragged his Sylveon into the woods and ended its life with a sledgehammer. Police say no remains have yet been found.
So what went wrong? We asked his parents outside their Pallet Town home.
"W-well Joey really wanted an Umbreon for a few years now, but his Eevees keep evolving into the wrong things."
"This is really the problem," explained Professor Oak, a nearby specialist "There is no wrong thing for an Eevee to evolve into. We need people to understand that, no matter what it decides to do with its life, a pokemon needs love and care."
