>>24543182You would think with the West's and Asia's rapidly aging demographics they would try to double down on their core market (people who have been playing pokemon since 1998, 1996 for Japan). It just doesn't make sense to target the kiddies anymore when they are an ever shrinking slice of the population in all of the countries that matter. They seemed to realize this when they released FRLG and HGSS, throwing a bone to the older fans, but they have since been dumbing these games down more and more to make them inaccessible to anyone older than 9 years old, all while making the IVs and EV system too complicated for that demographic to grasp.
