A while ago someone here was asking how to get a legit Celebi for his Crystal version

Well have you tried Celebi Trick? http://lparchive.org/Pokemon-Blue/Update%2012/

You'd need Stadium 2 for this tho.

They should have really put that Mew under that truck or upon completing Pokedex, and let people get Celebi without Japanese version...

This is a common saying that it was removed in translations, I remember seeing jewtube videos with GS ball activating in gook version

The GS Ball event exists in all versions. And I'm talking about the part where it is actually given to you in-game.

b) Even the Japanese had a hard time getting Celebi. I'd imagine not a lot of kids had access to cellphones in 2000, even in Japan. Keep in mind this was well before the mass proliferation of the internet to the point that every child would access it freely from home, so ignorance of the event itself would also have been a factor.

c) can the person to whom you are responding not perform a simple google search? This glitch has been known about for years, and there are even multiple methods to obtain Celebi.
