I bought my copy of Alpha Sapphire months ago. I played it for about an hour, lost interest, put it down, and haven't picked it up since.

Please make me want to play it.

Did you like gen 3, OP?
ORAS is good if you liked gen 3 in the first place. I was kinda meh on it, so subsequently I was kinda meh about ORAS.

Dexnav was a lot of fun in the early game, though. Hydro Pumping Surskit and Boombursting Taillow were star team members.

Not OP, but I didn't enjoy it until I had someone trade me level 1 versions of some of my favorite mons. The Pokemon in the first ten routes are almost all the same.

It hurts even worse because Gen 3 mons are some of the most garbage designs I have ever seen before.
Zigzagoon is so fucking boring and plain.
The only cool mon in the earlier routes is Ralts.

I really like Zigzagoon and Linoone. I just don't want to use them for an entire game. This is the team I used for the game. It made the ending all the better due to the whole credits showing your battles and stuff.

It fucking sucks though because I found an ingenious plan to get the mons I wanted because ORAS was actually my first Gen 6 game, as I am also currently waiting for Z for my introduction to Kalos.

So instead of being stuck with shitmons like Zigzag I just scammed people by breeding my Blaziken with a Ditto and claimed the Torchic had 6 IVs with Hidden Ability and people fell for it since you cant see stuff like nature, I've scammed people out of legendarys with that tactic.

I rushed it with exp share on and like 2-3 pokemon including my starter. I just legendaried the e4 because I wasn't having any fun.
It's such a shame too, you can find like poochyhena with eggmoves and zorua on the first route, yet they hide it behind gimmicks instead of making them avaible from the start, game would have been much better with that much variety from the start.

ORAS was bad because you can just play Emerald at 20x speeds.

I don't get was was so bad. It's piss easy like XY, but had more post game. Plus, mega beedrill and loppuny are cool. It's not breaking any records, but to say that it "doesn't have a gimmick like other gens" makes me think that you're forgetting dexnav chaining and mirage islands.
