I feel like there's more to this then we were told. Now we find out there are at least two cores and two 50% snakes. They probably hiding something else for the game announcement

So judging by this it clear they are more than just 2. Seeing how 100% Zyagrde has 5 colored hexagons on its chest i'd say there are 5 in total: Red (puni-chan), Blue, Orange, Light Blue and White

In the anime, there's just two. Or at least Team Flare only knows about the existence of two.

Also, it makes more sense for there to be just two because each can get to 50% by itself.

But thats the anime, besides as you said Team Flare knows about two, that doesnt mean its exactly true (flare was surprised with the dog forme).

The main site states pretty clearly there are at least more than 2

This is what I assumed too once they revealed 100% opening the mouth on it's chest.

1 core is capable to reaching 10%. Then it takes 2 cores to reach 50%. And if 4 cores forming two 50% formes can't handle what their up against, the final core can bring them all together to create 100%.

If this is ends up being true, than what can be so dangerous and powerful that two 50% formes can't handle? Couldn't be Yveltal or Xerneas. 50% has the perfect ability against them. Either their both getting an upgrade like primal groundon and kyogre, or something big is coming.

I think it's just bad phrasing. Orange, White and Light blue cores would be just stupid.

2 Cores with 2 colors that represent Xerneas/Yveltal, and the Complete Zygarde's wings being only red or blue, make more sense.

So we get two versions - Pokemon Z Red Core and Pokemon Z Blue Core.

Each game follows the trainer as they travel through the game. Early in the game you find a Core (red or blue depending on your game) and begin collecting cells from across the region.

Team Flare, however, have found the other Core. They're also collecting cells. Both Cores will vary slightly in their formes and stats and moves, depending on which version you choose. Maybe there are lots of formes along the way.

The game will eventually culminate in a battle between Flare and you, having a Zygarde vs Zygarde face off to determine who gains control of the 100% Mecha forme. Will you be using Thousand Waves or Thousand Arrows Zygarde? Only you can decide.

You seem to have misunderstand what I meant.

Read my post again, I said 10 CORES, not 10 cells. Each zydoge has a core, and if each zydoge has 10% of all available cells, the there's the possibility of 10 CORES existing.

Nobody said anything about the number of cells each core uses.

Sure, the possibility exists, but so far the anime implies otherwise. It's a bit of a leap to assume there could be up to ten Zygarde 10% forms at the same time. The 50% form also requires a single core (again, according to the anime), so eight of those supposed ten cores would be left out.

Yeah, the text in the official site is most likely a bad translation.

Two cores would also be way more marketable and easier for the anime to handle than multiple of them.

Why did anyone think there would be 100 cells? Given that it's signature moves have thousand in the names I always assumed there would be exactly 1000, 500 for 50%, 100 for 10%.
