>>24588762I think I would've had it run for at least 13 or 14 episodes. It doesn't take to much to tell the story of Kanto unless you wanna explain every little detail or even expand on it.
Red being an idiot was fine at first, I feel he shouldn't have rammed everything's shit in with Charizard later on. Maybe spend more time showing the bond with those Pokemon.
Show his conflict with Blue a bit more, I liked that he was a dick but still a friend to Red.
Soundtrack was pretty good, wouldn't change a whole lot there.
I didn't mind Mega Evolution too much, but it did seem a bit weird to have in Kanto of all places. Maybe make catching Mewtwo take more than two Ultra Balls because it sometimes takes over 10 or 20 or even higher in the games.
Make the gym leaders a bit more prevalent, flesh out their personalities. Do the same with the Elite Four and anybody else that's of at least some import.
Showing all the major battles without dragging them out would be nice too.
I dunno. I'm no director, but those are things I would've liked to see.
