I have to say, I enjoyed playing ORAS. It was literally RS in 3D. Of course new crap like Exp. Share and endgame was sloppy, but as far as a game, I was satisfied, simply not as satisfied as I thought I'd be.

Regardless, I'd like to replay ORAS, and enjoy it again. I want to play it slowly and explore, but like in the original games, and the franchise overall (except Gen 5 because that was very huge) you can't really "explore".

Id like to use Pokémon I've never used instead, and I'd like to be slightly harder. I want to play with my bros and all. I dislike Nuzlocke, but I might Egglocke.

Should I try replaying vanilla ORAS, or wait for a new entrypoint for homebrew and mod the game myself?
