Can we have an anti-stall thread? Tired of facing them. Post Pokemon or teams or sets that beat stall, and we can discuss facing them in general.

I guess for a starting point, Pursuit Mega Metagross is a cool way to stop Gothitelle from trapping your walls & stallbreakers. Pursuit Megas in general are pretty great since they can't be Tricked.

Stall teams have started packing Signal Beam on their Gothitelle to catch Hoopa-U before it does too much damage. Others just throw on a Mandibuzz that stops most sets bar the one with Thunderbolt.

Is Iron Head worth running on it? Standard set to hit most things is Ice Beam, Fusion Bolt, and Earth Power, with the one to get the boot probably being Earth Power (for Iron Head). Pretty valuable for being able to touch Steel types.

Stallbreaker Talonflame is pretty popular on the high ladder as a complete shutdown for stall as well as having the offensive presence to deal with your typical stallmons, though I don't have much experience using it so it's up for debate really.

You could just run a cleric, since it eases your ability to switch in, plus Lum is one time only. Mega Sableye or Quagsire will force it out anyway depending on the set. Will-O-Wisp version gets walled by Sableye, and Swords Dance version either gets cockblocked by Foul Play or forced out by Quagsire.

Stall is literally cancer used by awful people. The top player on the OU ladder is a stallfag who actually begged his opponents to surrender when he was losing and tried to bribe them by offering teams. Saw a game he played this morning by chance so I looked into his replays to confirm that his begging wasn't a one time thing. Sickening.

What pissed me off the most is that stall is only being kept alive by smogon and SD. Stall can't do shit unless you ban every goddamn thing that counters it. For fucks sake, they banned every fucking thing that you can use to counter stall. On the back end, they run a motherfucking stall academy to teach other autists and annoying children how to play stall when it only works within the parameters set up to make it work.
I read something about how real autistic people fucking love boring, repetitive tasks so it actually kind of makes sense as to why everybody at smogon jerks their dicks so hard about protecting stall. It's extremely fun to them.

stall is a guaranteed ragefest for the opponent who typically is running some HO team with sweeping in mind. smogon has spread their cancerous mindset to both ends of the spectrum, so when something comes along that shits on a stall team (M-Mawile, Greninja, Aegislash) they ban it by allowing the retards who get above a certain arbitrary point level to vote, since they believe it to be a filter

what really ends up happening is that these bans end up with a bunch of elitist stallfags with a likeminded opinion about the pokemon getting together and circlejerking over how they'd be #1 if not for the 'mon. So it gets banned, something else takes it place, and voila, the cycle begins anew.

If nobody cared about winning and just about being creative/having fun, smogon wouldn't have a following. I think it's less autism and more human trash can pseudo-intellectuals who need something to pour their miserable negative energy into
