This feeling of pointlessness you're feeling could be brought on by a weak brain (no offense) this is because when you have a lack of stimulation, the brain tends to get weak and undercompensates for what your body needs resulting in sadness or a feeling of powerlessness. Sorry if I sound presumptuous but One way to combat this is not to give in to escapism/technology, but to get in a routine of exercising daily, especially with core exercises and running, along with a balanced diet, avoiding sodium and saturated fats. The body is near perfect in the way everything works together, so these things will help your outlook immensely, and the brain is a muscle so you should find a stimulation for your brain such as brain games and trying your best in school, if no school, then enroll because that shits important.
All of this should help unless it's something clinical, which I doubt it is because laziness is an epidemic these days.
Also, take vitamin D, and avoid gluten. Talkin' world of difference.
