I hate to say it..

I've bought the game and blew through it but there's quite a bit of post game. It almost feels they put post game in that should of been in the main game but that's just how it rolls.

I'm loving the vibrancy and how interactive EVERYTHING is. Literally everything. The 3DS game really brings out the mechanics and doesn't feel linear. Very worldly. Very in depth with lore and deepest lore yet friendly to mobile and on the go gamers who don't want a game that stresses their time limits. There's no real qualifications needed to go anywhere and you're not limited by far.

You're able to entice what you want and not be limited by specifics as each Yokai is pretty much the same in standard power.

I can see why many new fans and the growing fans into this franchise will choose it over the dying flames of Pokemon. All assets will shift to Yokai Watch eventually as the game plan is gearing up and even the Pokemon building International has flyers and posters of Yokai Watch inside.

It's only a matter of time and as this game gets better, as the merge with phones and gaming devices merge like with the future of Nintendo and eventually other major consoles..

I'm going to enjoy it. I would gladly retire Pokemon for this. I'll still buy Pokemon games when they come out for nostalgia sake but it's pretty much over. In all honesty it should be.

The anime will still run until there's no interest but the art style kept up with the times so that's good. Atleast that is on par but everything else is dated.

I'll be the first to say it.

As a GenWonner who first bought Pokemon Green overseas in Japan and has been a fan of the franchise ever since (buying every copy, merchandise outside of toys/cards/plushies (i.e: electronics/electronic gear/games only) I will retire my desire to be a Pokemon Master to become a Yokai Extraordinaire.
